Sabato 22 febbraio alle ore 17.30, Andrea Bianconi, autore delle poltrone protagoniste del progetto “Sit down to have an idea”, incontrerà il pubblico al Nora Bistrot all’interno del Teatro Duse per interpretare “Monologo di un’idea”, performance site specific (ingresso libero fino a esaurimento posti) in cui l’artista indaga il rapporto tra uomo e idea: ricerca, attesa, desiderio, volontà, domanda, ossessione, visione, illuminazione, forza, selezione, idea di avere un’idea, illusione di avere un’idea, idea giusta, idea sbagliata.



L’evento è parte di #DUSEoff: fino al 13 marzo 2020, le poltrone d’artista sono ospitate negli esclusivi spazi del Teatro Duse di Bologna (Via Cartoleria, 42) disposte nei suoi antichi foyer, nei tre ordini dei palchi e in altri angoli segreti dove il pubblico potrà scoprire le opere e lasciarsi ispirare dal messaggio dell’artista “una poltrona per tutti è un’idea per tutti”. Le poltrone saranno visibili agli spettatori del Duse in possesso del biglietto d’ingresso allo spettacolo da un’ora prima dell’inizio della rappresentazione e durante l’intervallo.



“All’interno di questa scatola magica che è il Teatro Duse, le mie poltrone assumono un valore simbolico straordinario che mi ha ispirato la performance che eseguirò sabato 22 davanti ad un pubblico che ha colto il messaggio di queste opere e il mio desiderio di regalare alle persone momenti di evasione che diventano di riflessione e di nuove idee” afferma l’artista.



Il progetto “Sit down to have an idea”, di Andrea Bianconi, è curato da Alice Zannoni, in collaborazione con Barbara Davis Gallery Houston-Texas e il supporto di Casa Testori, si arricchisce così di un seguito molto speciale. Lo storico teatro di via Cartoleria, che ha già accolto una delle poltrone, collocherà l’intera collezione

On Saturday 22 February, at 17.30, Andrea Bianconi, author of the armchairs at the center of the project “Sit down to have an idea”, will meet the public at the Nora Bistrot inside the Teatro Duse to recite “Monologue of an idea”, a site specific performance (free entry limited to number of available seats) in which the artist investigates the relation between man and idea: research, expectations, desire, will, demand, obsession, vision, illumination, strength, selection, the idea of having an idea, the illusion of having an idea, a right idea, a wrong idea.



The event is part of #DUSEoff: until 13 March 2020, the artist’s armchairs will be hosted in the exclusive spaces of Teatro Duse of Bologna (Via Cartoleria, 42), set out in its old foyers, in the three tiers of boxes and in other secret corners where the public can discover the works and be inspired by the artist’s message “an armchair for everyone is an idea for everyone”. The armchairs will be visible to spectators of the Duse holding entry tickets to the show from an hour before the beginning of the performance and during the interval.



“Inside this magic box that is the Teatro Duse, my armchairs assume an extraordinary symbolic value that has inspired the performance I will give on Saturday 22 before an audience that has grasped the message of these works and my desire to give people moments of evasion that become moments of reflection and of new ideas” states the artist.



Andrea Bianconi’s “Sit down to have an idea” project, curated by Alice Zannoni in collaboration with Barbara Davis Gallery Houston-Texas and Casa Testori, will thus be enriched by a very special sequel. The historical theatre of Via Cartoleria, which has already hosted one of the armchairs, will house the entire collection
